I am currently coveting a vintage Louis Vuitton piece of luggage from Go Vintage in Saint Paul. I couldn’t imagine actually using this luggage on a flight unless I chartered my own plane, however I would totally display this at home. Perhaps it could house some of my vintage Vogue collection.
I saw these sweatshirts at BlackBlue in Saint Paul a couple of months ago when I was shopping for an outfit to wear for the Voltage lookbook shoot. Luckily, they had the watermelon color in my size and I just ordered the green today. They are from Alternative Apparel and in an eco-fleece that is so soft and light with a vintage feel.
They go great with my Nike LunaRacers for a sportier look. For a more dressed up look I think they will look great with soon to be mine Minnetonka moccasins (also from BlackBlue).
In the way of spirits, I have recently became a huge fan of framboise beer. Lindeman’s is a nice Belgian framboise and readily available in the Twin Cities. However, the best is from the Wisconsin brewery (and town of) New Glarus. The berries seem fresher some how and I love that they suggest serving the beer in a champagne glass to fully appreciate the color and let the beer breath. I haven’t been able to find this locally, so I stock up on it when I am at the family cabin in Winter, WI.
