Bonnie Cashin

I have long had a fascination with designer Bonnie Cashin because of her bold and interesting use of color and texture, particulary in her wools. She is the genius behind Coach’s legendery clasp and has inspired the release of their “Legacy” collection. Interestingly enough, The Bonnie Cashin archives are housed in Minneapolis, MN. Unfortunaltey, these archives are not open to the public and trust me I have tried to gain access. The foundation does have an amazing website at least which is full of images and information about this incredible designer.

I love these pieces! Such a great discovery of images. I especially love the dress with the gathers created by the hooks.
